Dental Hygiene

Our preventative care program involves a cooperative effort by the patient, dentist, and oral health therapist to preserve the patient’s natural teeth.

Preventing dental disease starts at home with good oral hygiene and a healthy balanced diet. It is continued in the dental practice by the efforts of the dentist and oral health therapist to promote, restore, and maintain optimal oral health.

Preventative dental care includes regular dental examinations, professional cleaning, and routine X-rays. Placement of fissure sealants and the use of fluoride are also great preventive treatments that can help protect the teeth against tooth decay and gum disease.

Prevention helps avoid serious and costly dental problems and is the key to having a healthy, confident, beautiful smile.
